Scope; Third Party Sites.

This Privacy Policy applies only to information we collect at and through the Site. Our Site also contains links to third party sites that are not owned or controlled by Pait Home Inspections. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. Pait Home Inspections cares about privacy issues and wants you to be familiar with how we collect, use and disclose personally identifiable information you provide to us.
We collect information you provide to us, for example when you create or modify your account, register to use our Site, purchase products or services from us, request information from us, contact customer support, or otherwise communicate with us or use our Site in commerce. Vendors and Services Providers.

We may provide information to third-party vendors and service providers that help us operate and manage our Site, process orders, and fulfill and deliver products and services that you purchase or request from us. SMS Program/Service.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. By submitting your phone number, you are authorizing us to send you text messages and notifications. Message/data rates apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe to a message sent from us.

Corporate Affiliates.

We may share your personal information with our corporate affiliates which are subject to this policy and applicable law.

Advertising.

We may use how you browse and shop in order to show you ads for Pait Home Inspections or our advertising partners that are more relevant to your interests. We may use cookies and other information to provide relevant interest-based advertising to you. Interest-based ads are ads presented to you based on your browsing behavior in order to provide you with ads more tailored to your interests. These interest-based ads may be presented to you while you are browsing our site or third-party sites not owned by Pait Home Inspections.

1. Disclosure required by law:
PI may be used or disclosed if and to the extent required by law.

2. Public health activities:
PI may be used or disclosed to a public health authority that is authorized by law to collect or receive such information for preventing or controlling disease, injury or disability, including public health issues, vital records, child or adult abuse or neglect; adverse food or drug events, and investigations of work-related illnesses or injuries as required under law.

3. Victims of abuse, neglect, or domestic violence:
PI may be used or disclosed to a government authority, including a social service or protected service agency, which is investigating a report of abuse, neglect or domestic violence to the extent the disclosure is required or permitted by law.

4. Health oversight activities:
With certain exceptions, PI may be used or disclosed to a health oversight agency for oversight activities authorized by law, including audits, civil, administrative or criminal investigations or proceedings, inspections, licensure or disciplinary actions, or other activities for oversight of the University or other government benefit or regulatory programs (i.e. JCAHO).

5. Judicial and Administrative Proceedings:
PI may be disclosed in the course of a judicial or administrative proceeding in response to an order of a court or administrative tribunal, or a HIPAA compliant subpoena, discovery request or other lawful process.

6. Law Enforcement Purposes:
PI may be disclosed for law enforcement purposes to comply with laws that require the reporting of certain types of wounds or physical injuries.

7. Decedents:
PI regarding decedents may be disclosed to coroners, medical examiners and funeral directors if necessary to carry out the duties of their positions.

8. Threats to Health or Safety:
PI may be used or disclosed under certain circumstances to prevent or lessen a serious and imminent threat to the health or safety of an individual or the public.

9. Specialized Government Functions:
PI may be used or disclosed for specialized government functions such as military and veterans activities, security and intelligence activities, protective services for officials, medical suitability, and to correctional institutions.

10. Workers’ Compensation:
PI may be used or disclosed to the extent required to comply with worker’s compensation and similar programs.

CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY

Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy without your consent in accordance with applicable law. We will post any privacy policy changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, we may provide a more prominent notice (including, for certain services, email notification of privacy policy changes).
